Increase number of concurrent TCP connection attempts
If you set your Windows XP or Windows 7 as a server like webserver or P2P server and have a lot of visitor or concurent connection, it will be a notification like this in event viewer ( Event ID : 4226 )
TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
It is because: Win XP or Win 7 has limited 10 TCP concurent connection per second. To break this limite you can use TCP-Z to patch TCP/IP connection limit.
You can download this stuff at : http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Network-Tweak/TCP-Z.shtml
Of course it is not trojan or malware.
As you can see, you can set TCP connection limit from 10 to example 500.
Of course more larger connection will consume more CPU power and memory consumption.
TCP-Z support Windows 2003 / Vista / XP X64 / 2008 / Vista64 / 7
Hope this helps.
You use this stuff too named HALF-OPEN.
